According to that chart, we should be having no loadshedding.
Well we'd be burning diesel and using hydro, as max includes those, but yeah it improved from declared available sitting at 22 to 23GW to 25 almost 26,which technically means with Octgs we shouldn't be

Where does that chart show that we are having stage 4 loadshedding? That chart is useless.

That's the declared availability, the load forecast, the max availability. When the green line goes over the red we don't have enough availability

At the rate they are burning diesel, they will run out in the next day or so, then the red line will drop, hence stage 5 loading....

Didn't they just replenish the Mossel Bay one? But yeah, I don't know how quickly the OCGTs use diesel when 100% fuel. I'm guessing they are not using the OCGTs and pumped storage late at night and early morning?
