Ours just posted a correction - it's effective until Sat, not from Sat.

Well you'd need triple our current base load for wind, that's at it only provides 30% so we would need 120GW of wind just to maybe cover us and 145GW of solar.

I must I've been quite impressed with the wind output this week - I'm guessing we have much more wind installed than solar? SA should definitely focus more on wind than solar through the renewables energy programme.
I do wonder why hydro is not part of the conversation - seems the most reliable form of renewable energy - well at least the pumped storage version...
