plan^∞, where action = √(−1)
You've nailed the equation of the anc. I wish this was on a t shirt.

Would only change the first part to be lim 1/x as x goes to 0. X prepresents the ANCs ability to plan over time

So every municipality that has defaulted is getting load reduction. Eskom basically telling the ANC to get ****ed. Hope this actually pushes the ANC out in 2024.

Wonder if this is a case of the board going "ok De Ruyter has already quit, not like the ANC can fire him, so YOLO you know..."

Every single member is ANC deployed. That board?

Yeah... no.

And don't worry about stage 3. Worry where tf they'll be getting 6000MW from 2 weeks from now because if they can't stage 6 aint gonna cut it.

It seems some of the affected municipalities have received a response from Eskom that goes something like “However the power utility informed the municipality that if the grid is under pressure nationally, Eskom will switch off supply to try and stabilise the grid as an emergency measure without any prior notification,”
So it would seem that in most cases it's got nothing to do with debt. Which can only mean they're keeping the stages low by using reduction.

Unless they're preserving diesel so they can act like a hero this weekend.
The government most likely want to be the saviour, so gauvamint want to make the "The Grinch saved Christmas" announcement.

They already tried that with the extra holiday and the "Eskom`s Christmas miracle" propaganda BS that was spewed start December. The cadres have duped SA into thinking it is out of their hands and they are here to help. TheChomp believes this too.

Here in PMB the municipality paid some R200mil overnight and the "reduction" schedule was reduced by 50% (as in only half the scheduled load reductions are now happening). Apparently it will keep getting resuced further as they pay up some more.

Yesterday I saw a river of sewage flowing down a road in a suburb from a drain that is overflowing. This I think is because of the lack of electricity to pump water. I feel sorry for the owner of the house, the drain is right in front of the driveway.

That's good news for you but really Eskom is probably doing the right end of it is very harsh on residents as they could really do with all this money owed to purchase more diesel and stuff. Must really suck if you are a compliant ratepayer, however, but it seems Eskom has lost their patience with bankrupt municipalities.

I agree. And people in this case are actually (and rightly so) pissed with the municipal officials and not with Eskom.

And of course the non-payers won't now grow a conscience and start paying. Everyone else will just keep footing the bill while other services suffer.

And we can thank the ANC for inventing this culture of non-payment in the first place.

Just be prepared for an Xmas of shed, the numbers haven't improved, there is just no feedback from Eskom, the ANC don't care they think only of themselves
I have never attempted Turkey on the braai before. Challenge accepted!

So this why they send troops to Eskom
