why should there be an urgency they do not care as they all sit at home with Generators/solar/invertersBest part is that there seems to be **** all urgency to fix the situation.

they hand out T-shirts promise the world and then as soon as the T-shirt has won the campaign they show the country the fingerExactly, no foresight at all. I have power now, why do I need to worry about the future or the rest of the country?
And when the money runs out, we can just beg for the west to send us more money. Rince and repeat, just keep blaming everyone else and tell the voters that they should vote for you because after the next election things will be better...
Guess the guy want to take lunch at 12, he decide to switch on the power for going on lunchWeirdest thing, power came back at 11:30, supposed to only start coming back at 12... Very weird
The guy doing the switching had an appointment at 12:00Weirdest thing, power came back at 11:30, supposed to only start coming back at 12... Very weird

What is that? No such thing in Durban.Any news on the fixed connection levy increases?
Seems you are on the money going by thisWhat that tells me is that Eskom are asking for 6GW but the municipalities are only delivering 3GW of reduction for whatever reasons (exemptions for creaking infrastructure etc?)
So they're asking for more than they need so they can get what they need?
Loadshedding suspended soon
That is municipality dependentAny news on the fixed connection levy increases?
We using 32% less so it should all balance out.Guess they can at least pay for the diesel now... Still, holy **** 32% is going to hurt...
Just got my CoJ statement for this month... with a 32% increase... Starting to wonder if running 2 generators 24/7 is going to be cheaperWe using 32% less so it should all balance out.
And municipalities are Eskom dependent. Eskom stated that it was looking at a R1000 levy for all grid-tied solar systems. As for the DA munies that already have the fixed levy, sorry for you, that will be a 32% plus VAT increase on the levy as well, at the very least. That is municipality dependent
