Cape Town accounted for 71% of WC GDP.

Durban accounted for 59.88% of KZN GDP.
 
Wonder how much Gauteng has contracted with all the power ****ups in the last 12 months

Yeah but the KZN still brings in a higher total GDP then the WC, even if it's only 2%, so even if Durban is only 59.88% of the total for KZN, it would still in theory be higher then Cape Towns

There's no but. We're not arguing. At least I didn't know we were.

I was posting stats from COGTA as a response the other oke and then adding to yours. ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

My first post was showing how Durban isn't just a port and contributes almost as much as the golden child, Cape Town.

They did that back in December, Eskom gave them 3 days, the problem is when it rains it fraks things up more and technically Johannesburg is supposed to have been declared in an SOD but apparently we're treated differently to Durban.

Whole country needs to be declared a SoD.
 
Not sure if it's due to all the outages surrounding me, but we didn't have our last 2 load shedding sessions, though we did skip our morning one yesterday, we still got 4 hours off as the 2 to 4 one was extended.
But still 10 to midnight skipped and 6 to 8 skipped.
 
Power went off at 4am in my area which was not on the schedule, saw video of substation burning on whatsapp feeding Toyota. Power came back at 7:30.

The only reason you're missing slots is because someone is forgetting to run the script that flips the switch on your substation... not because there are other outages that mean they don't need to LS you.
