Even though this is massively off topic, the apathy of communities also pisses me off.

A few of us in our community managed to get senior managers in the municipality to come and have meetings with the community to try and deal with issues, and at best we managed to get 30 people to come through to these meetings, in a community of over 10000 people easily.

Dude you can see it in complexes as well, 34 units, 6 people will come to the meetings.

This is the issue I have with our community as well. Everyone is very quick to complain online or whatsapp groups or just at dinner... but when you ask if they've actually done something, something as simple as just reporting the fault or issue - the response is the same "na, I'm sure someone else has reported it".

They used 6 and then 5 IPP OCGT lets be real Eskom probably only have like max 10 that work and then 10 for spares they probably ran these things into the ground too

That's not using all their generators though, also 6 is either Gourikwa or Ankerlig as those would be only ones able to give enough power. The 5 ipps actually run cheaper due to using LNG
