We need to curb demand, generation is slow and we need to do our part, demand increased by 2000mw in 3 days
Actually probably more in line with higher shedding levels to be honest

As usual makes almost no difference to the consumer. Just 2 hours less here tomorrow and nothing else until the weekend or beyond :(

Reduced Wednesday for Thursday onwards will be my bet, for no other reason than demand should come down a bit, temps are a little warmer at night on average across the country. That's assuming nothing else breaks of course lol

The long-range forecast is for a significant cold-front reaching the SW-Cape on Thurs 20th, spreading across the country on Fri 21st, and snow on the Drakensberg by Sat 22nd:

Nah, went for the standard 8 kW inverter with 10 kW batteries and couple of panels. Installation next week for inverter + batteries. Panels coming later :)

Exciting times!

Stage 10 loading.

Please stand by.
Getting there :D Do we actually know what's under "planned maintenance?" Is it the likes of Koeberg, Kusile, etc, or are they just throwing anything that broke down for more than a few days under the category?
