Do you guys in Cape Town still get them frequently? We just had one now and apparently sometimes during the night we get them often. What is going on

Yeah, had one yesterday, and two days before that.

Luckily I'm mostly at work when the power's off, but I worry about things like my fridge. And I hate, HATE having to reset all my digital/electronic clocks every second day.

I get frequently cut at about 8am.... doesnt bother me cos im either at work or still sleeping and when i do eventually wake up the power is usually back on.

Mishrak Ac Thull gets cut Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00am til 14:00pm

Ssshh! We don't call them that. Use the euphemistic equivalent of "loadshedding". Powercuts sound like they're doing it on purpose!

we had one yesterday, first time in quite a while. Hubby's work often gets loadshedding between 11am-2pm roundabout

Had one yesterday and the day before. At least its not completely arbitrary...usually @ 9 in the morning.
