If you make your own with the pieces in my post above, you can set the boost/buck to any voltage for any device

You can run multiple devices from one battery each with their own boost/buck for their respective voltages.

e.g. my fibre CPE, router, external HDD and 10 gbps switch run at 12V from one boost/buck. My Pi is 5 V with its own boost/buck. I have two 7 Ah batteries and I get 6 hours uniteruppted wifi, internet, plex and NAS access.

Where can I purchase a suitable step up cable without making my own to power my router directly from the power bank?

The power banks are great for 5V devices. Not so good for routers etc.
I can help with my unit (PUP) @R750 It provides 12hrs of backup typically.
If you are in Jhb or CT I'll deliver & commission it as well.

Not bad price.. but you got to buy your own 7AH battery seperate. think they go for around R200 to R300.
