Powersupply

It's still a Corsair which means 10 times better than what you're using now.

I would use it for my PC if that's what you want to know.

its a coolermaster (and i can get it localy)
they have a cosiar rm850,but have to phone them if they have stock

The Antec obviously.

so if i order it online, will go for that one

thx

We need someone local to buy a super flower PSU and give us some feedback otherwise we will never know if its good or not.

i will pm you my bank details so u can pay one and i will test it :P

Just had an Antec 750 blow up, just over a year old.

Don't think that I will buy an Antec again.

how much does a surge protector plug costs?
i have a normal one,and should probably get one

anyways,how bad is crappy caps,its a dealbreaker?

I'm using the Sharkoon 500w 80+ modular PSU on a similar system and it's running silently silky smooth for over a year and half. I've only used one PCI-ex x16 lane though so I'm unsure how it will hold out in a dual GPU situation.

Get the superflower, it has 100 more watts than the Antec.

Haha hahaha.

Watts mean **** all.

I guarantee you that a Seasonic 400watt power supply will give more continuous power than the '585watt' he is using now.

A lot of manufacturers lie about wattage.

+1

Look at the rails.
It needs to deliver a constant V across both rails to be worth anything.
I had a 800w power supply that couldn't power a GTX 550 a few years back due to not having sufficient rail voltage.

decided to get the antec tp 750 from the local pc store in the mall

R1300,

300cheaper than online and dont have to pay shipping
and dont have to wait for shipping

as the waiting for new parts makes me insane (i cant wait)

they have the antec 850 modular for 2.2k,but thats way out of my buget
1500 was my max,but more if its quality 1600,but deff not more

also thinking of keyboards as i look around for psu's

are mechenical worth the price tag?
the g710+ looks really nice to me,but is it worth spending over a membrane gaming keyboard
atm i use a small wireless gigabite one, makes my hands hurt, its small and crappy to use, also wireless not the best for gameing

Keyboards is another thing I'm having problems with.

I currently have a Logitech G15v2, the LCD is nice and all, but after owning a Razer Lycosa Mirror Edition I need another keyboard with scissor keys.

I just can't seem to find one.

I've used mechanical keyboards a few times, definitely better than membrane. But still not scissor keys :(

I bit of waste though, since a R600 Power Supply could of handled it all.
Heck you could of bought a "spare".

Did read his full post?

He said he wanted room to sli. You can't do that with a R600 power supply.

Keyboards like mice are a very personal thing. Me for example I love my logitech ultra-x kb with laptop keys. I'm still keeping an eye out for some old ibm model m keyboards.
