PPDB Balance request broken ?

Yes, it normally does.

There are 2 other methods to obtain your PPDB Data Balance:
  1. www.vodacom4me.co.za
  2. *111# which is easy with the SIM Card in a cellphone that supports [searchforum]USSD[/searchforum], otherwise if you have a Huawei E620 or Huawei E220 you can use [searchforum]ginggs' application[/searchforum]
 
It took me a month to teach the Dad how to do the sms balance thing from the VMC dash so logging into V4me is a mission and getting the sim out the datacard from behind the PC is no small task for the Dad. Have the Option Nomzi card so ginggs app is not going to work.

the "balance" sms use to work till about 5 days ago so I was just checking if anyone else had the same prob before I start harrasing the helpdesk :p

Ok, so why not login at www.vodacom4me.co.za on behalf of your dad, and then let him know [e.g. via SMS to his data card's SIM Card], what the remaining data balance is on his PPDB...

I've used iOpus Imacros extension for FireFox to script my login to V4M. So with one click it logs me in and takes me straight to the data balance page. Might be a plan B.
 
i've been having a battle the last 2 days with 2 customers on prepaid....

they BOTH have the same problem - no feedback from 100 - balance

nothing comes back @ all....
