OK lets say i have a 2 Meg sync rate from telkom and I have a 1Meg uncapped account from (ISP), now I get a capped account from (another ISP) and dial in, wouldnt the capped account use the full line speed (2meg) leaving the uncapped account no bandwidth?

Thanks.

The max your line/modem will be able to achieve is 2mbps. So this would be shared between the 2 accounts. If you are hammering both ISP accounts at the same time, the bandwidth would be split between the 2 accounts. In what ratio this would happen, I can't say. I guess it would depend on the modem, what data is being downloaded, how many TCP/UDP/IP connections are going through each account, and a host of other factors.

But the fact remains that both accounts can be used simultaneously, but combined they can only download at 2mbps simultaneously.

A lot of gamers have a setup like this. The modem dials an uncapped account, which is shared by all devices on the network, including wireless devices. They connect using IP information handed out by DHCP. The main gaming PC is typically wired straight into the modem, bridge mode is enabled on the modem, and the desktop gaming PC dials the 2nd capped unshaped ISP account. So the gaming PC wouldn't be affected by throttling, shaping and FUPs. But it would still be competing with users on the uncapped account, if the uncapped account is being used while gaming.

Ok so once I enable PPPoE relay how do i stop my computer from using the LAN/router internet?

They dialed a/c on PC takes 100% of the traffic & nothing goes over router account. There are ways to achieve different outcomes, but thats the basic outcome.
