Good day ladies and gents

I am new to the gaming scene. Wife is about to give birth and hopefully winter arrives in the Cape. I decided to buy that Xbox One S special Dion Wired has going recently to keep myself busy otherwise I will keep myself busy with the bottle:crylaugh:

My question where can I buy pre-played games in Cape Town besides BT Games?

TIA

Yeah the two cash crusaders and converters works

I've found that digital sales work out much better than Pre-Played games. Sure, you can't trade them in but often the cost works out to a lot less than the price you pay minus trade-in value you often get. As an example, a few weeks ago I bought Saints Row 4+5 bundled with Metro 1&2 Redux editions for something like R300. Second-hand, the cheapest I could find the two Metro games for was a R400 for both at BTGames.

Same with a number of other games. I got R250 on my Gears 4 trade-in at BTGames, they put it on the shelf for R470 and last week it was on sale for R258 digitally.

I often buy games digitally that cost way less than physical. The ability to trade your games in often costs you more than just buying digitally. Especially if you start shopping on places like Amazon.

Thanks guys I don't know why I never considered them.

I have no problem with buying digitally but downloading a game on a 4mb line will take a life time. Also the storage of those game I am not to sure about. Say I need to delete a game of the hard drive would I have to buy it again I want to play it again.

Sorry I am a noob.

You can plug in a USB 3 hard drive and it will act as external storage. I've got 1.5TB plugged in + the 500GB and about 60 games installed with 800 TB left.

One last question I cant find a satisfactory answer for on the webs. What is the average size of these games? I might need to go back to an uncapped account.

Gears of War 4 (Bought via Digital) was 120GB.

I got GoW as well on disc but never played it yet will probably over the weekend. I willl either need to get a second capped account again or change to uncapped. I cancelled my last two secondary accounts (Afri and CW) was not happy with the service i received from the ISPs. Looking for a new ISP but dont know who currently with Vox and not planning to get rid of them. Their support is good, for me atleast.

Jeezus! So the BOne can hold 8 GOW games at most with a 1tb harddrive

Yup, considering it installs most of the game to your hard disk anyway. Even with the Bluray.

If you're so inclined, you could also play a lot of XBOX 360 games on the console.

IMHO they should separate digital versions into resolutions <= 1080 and >= 1080.
Though greedy bastards will just start charging more for the 4K versions then...

Yeah, digital doesn't work with capped accounts. Lately most of the newer games have started pushing closer to 70GB.

Also, buy a massive external. I bought a 2TB and 2 months later I've got 500GB left.
