Premature baldness

i also started losing hair in my 20s i think and to think my nickname at school was goldilocks.

eish im 23 and have a heck of a receding hairline going on....but im not worried about it.
ok im single but im sure when chicks meet me they dont say to themselves 'oh my god hes bald ' :p if they do they must jump.
but i think im gonna try that Nisim stuff...sounds decent ;) good luck bald buddy

Minoxidil is regaine/rogaine right? I've been using nisim for the last 3 months and i haven't seen any improvement, used regaine a while back but it made me shed a lot..stopped using it but maybe i should give it a try again

What happens is the thin, unhealthy hairs are shed and then new hairs that are thicker and healthier grow back. Been there done that :-) it works.

Nisim on its own simply can not work for men losing hair due to genetically high DHT levels in the scalp. There is no chemical in Nisim strongth enough to counteract this. Saw Palmetto is only a mild dht blocker and will now reverse hair loss.

I started loosing my hair at 21, I ended up shaving my head bald en the end, and I quite like the look. Never tried any hair products though. Just accept the fact, then it won't bug you. If it's heriditary, then there's isn't anything you can really do about it anyway.
My grandfather on my mothers side started going bald at 18, so I know its heriditary.

Ya whatever, I'm gonna use Minoxidil then, happy now? :p

but hey, I am not losing my hair, it is just thinning over a LONG period of time, about 12-14 years. Do you think Nisim is still to weak for me? The hair grow 'professionals' all told me it is appropriate for me. I am only using the extract for 3 weeks now so I can't tell yet what's going on.

What Nisim products did you use?

I will still try Nisim for the next 4 months, they guarantee visible results after 5 months. I always depends on how bold you are/were but in my case I am just thinning and I do not want to rogaine make me shed.

I'm getting a few grey hairs and i'm only 26 !

29 not going bald yet :D but i think i have the standard recede from front sides :( guess time is catching up with me

anyone know where i can get regaine 5% from? i know they sell the 2% one at most chemists but cant find 5. Im using the 5% solution that dischem mixes on their own but finding it a bit harsh

Buy a 2% Minoxidil at Dischem and mix it with a 5% bottle to dilute it. I use the 5% and its working pretty well. GF says she can see my hair is thicker.

Why spend your life fighting the inevitable? It just makes you miserable and distracts your focus from other more important things.

my hair is just beneath my shoulders now and curls. I'm finding it difficult to control my curls and get that nice bounce without a wash making it look like a ****ing perm. Stupid ****ing curly hair.

Next year I turn 30. Then I'm going skinhead. Will take pics & post

Just beneath your shoulders? Would that be your armpit hair?

Guys, stop being so vain. Be a man and shave your head!

I am also in the same boat. But hey, im not the 1st or the last person on earth to loose my hairline in my early 20s. If people ask u, just tell them its a symbol of wealth. Provided u work hard :-)

pfft...I started going bald on 18, don't let it get you down! It's low maintenance and contrary to what you may think, the women actually like it! ;)

They do? Really? Why, sign of maturity? LOL im 18 and going bald, and everyone else is worried about it except me.
