Prepaid LTE modem

Hay guys

Struggling to find an LTE modem , willing to spend about R1000 on one. Issue is that I've found a modem or two but the sites look dodgy and I don't want to be taken for a ride. Phoned telkom mobile today and they said they don't sell modems on prepaid Anyway if anyone has come right and got a decent LTE dongle/modem at a decent price please send me in the right direction.

Phoned telkom mobile today and they said they don't sell modems on prepaid:

TM sells the B593 on prepaid for R1,500. You just need to go from branch to branch to get stock that's not "allocated" to contract customers. I like the fact that it has external connectors. If your signal is too weak, you can hook up a large Poynting.

It's also a SIP client and has a telephone jack at the back. I ported my landline to Vox Telecom. The savings will pay for the router over 7 months.

Make sure you get the B593 601 or you'll be stuck on minimal frequency choices.
