Prepaid Meter Installation - Duplex

Hi,

Here's the situation. I live in a duplex, where the owner receives a electricity bill and he splits it up between us, which is unfair in my opinion. I now wish to get myself a prepaid meter. However, if I am not mistaken, it's not allowed to have 2 meters on one property. Is there any work around? :wtf:

Are you in a garden cottage?

If all is one building you could have a oroblem

Unfortunately not, it's one building. :crying:

The problem there is where the feed cable comes from.
If it enters on your side and then moves to the other you will be counting that electricity too.

If the feed comes from the otherside to you, you can perhaps install a meter that counts your actual usage. But prepaid is definately not gonna happen

That's so frustrating, but understandable as you explained. Thanks for the reply :)
