Greetings,

Please assist, I've tried all suggestions to load electricity on prepaid meter, from connecting power at neighbor, to changing batteries, with no success. The power light remains red, error message after loading voucher is constant. Any advice would be appreciated.

If I had only one photon for every prepaid meter issue, I'd be running a healthy solar farm by now!

Yea i once had a problem that a specific pc caused interference with communication between meter and wireless unit

So i had to do a shutdown of said pc whenever i wanted to see balance or top up

The pc is located close to the meter

The odd thing i discovered being further away from meter actually helped the interference tended to affect the handheld unit it seems so could recharge without shutdowns if far enough away

A person may find the same thing with these units that uses coms over the wire

certain devices cause noise that interferes

And that switching off all breakers and just leave on one noise free confirmed circuit to do the recharge and then switch back on the other circuits , then do with one extra circuit every time until you encounter the problem circuit , then next time only switch off the problem circuit

Spit balling below not sure if something like this would actually happen

You also have to have a circuit that does not traverse a transformer

If you have a victron multiplus for instance and all your circuits are on it you may find that big ass transformer is a fly in the ointment

Greetings all

After 4 days without electricity and many escalations, the prepaid meter had to replaced. Needless to say it took complaints to councilor to mayor for a resolution. The forum assisted me with troubleshooting before reaching out to municipality.

Thank you
