Hey Peeps.

First off, I've posted one or two threads asking for help with various things as a new home owner (Prepaid electricity understanding etc)

All the advice helped more than actual service providers. Thanks! DM me for a beer.

Now, I'm planning on getting a tenant, so I want to install a sub-meter. Is it okay to get this from takealot and call it a day?

I know I will have to sign up with whichever company owns that meter and they take a % of monthly usage. Are there special requirements or other stuff I should know before going this route?

I obviously want it installed propers so any idea how much can I expect installation to be? Also can anyone recommend a reputable electrician (I'm in the Edenvale area).

I would rather install a dumb meter and just work out the monthly consumption.
