Pretoria WUG

Kan daai HS dalk Rustenburg/Brits sien? :P

Ek ken 'n ex-wugger wat Rustenburg toe moes trek, wat dit BAIE sal like....

Hy kan nie Rustenburg sien nie :(
Daar is wel 'n link van hom af Harties toe - na die ander kant van die dam toe.

Busy building a house in Amberfield Valley, so cannot yet get on my roof to take some photos to look for high sites :)

Marked my location wug.za.net as Amberfield-daemon ( 25°53'8.84"S 28° 7'52.94"E )
Looking at the kml file on google earth it seems WOW Highsite (W0) might be a possible LOS highsite for me, but
I see now red coverage for it, is this highsite operational?

Here is the Heuweloord Highsite for me, but it looks like it's not pointing in the right direction for me

And then The Reeds Highsite, looks like I am just just in the red, coverage area here is the LOS

How does is look to you guys? Would it be possible for me to connect?

does the wug share internet?

There is a new highsite active in Hartbeespoort in the Meerhof area. The tower is located on the hill there and broadcasting north on 5.8ghz. The location is -25.765010, 27.902113.
Anyone is welcome to connect using standard kit as per www.ptawug.co.za

Thanks to Scrappies and Peon for getting the site linked to the rest of the wug.
