I had heard that all sectors on the MW towers were to be placed
on a single frequency. They must have started this modification already?
(This for better efficiency as well as improved mobile handover
between sectors).

Edit: Confirmed - Sandton has had their frequency changed too.

Hi All,

I am looking at getting sentech for offices next to Menlyn Park Shopping centrer(Cnr Frikkie de Beer & Glen Manor Ave)

What is the performance like? How do the pings look? Any feedback would be appreciated.

What does the throughput look like on the new flexi packages? Is it better than the classic options?

ta

I think at street level Menlyn itself is directly between you and the tower. Depending the exact office location you might just have perfect line of sight. Why don't you chat to BroadbandZone in Menlyn and ask them to do a test at your offices. Personally I think Flexi is a waste of money. The classic options will suit you much better, soft cap and all that. Currently running of that same tower with MyWi256 and performance is good.

At least you're within walking of The Place, unmatched in quantity, quality and variety when it comes to breakfast :)

Hennops Park Tower

Anyone having problems with connecting to this tower? Since Sunday PM I have not been able to connect. Sentech says there is no problem locally.

How it's changed since the "TEST" week
