Hi everyone,

Can someone advise me on how to prevent weeds and grass from growing between paving? Is there a chemical spray or powder I can use?

Prevent it..? Not going to happen..

It's a life time of weedkiller.. there are a few products available.. I use pave clear as an example..

this is the problem i face , i want to prevent weeds and grass from growing without redoing the paving

There are lots of ways. You can spray indiscriminate herbicide like roundup or banweed, pour boiling water over them throw black plastic over it for a few hours if there's sun etc.

also a mix of white spirit vinegar (higher acidity is better), salt and a bit of dish washing liquid
it has the added benefit of not giving you cancer after a few years like glyphosate

apparently diesel also works, but your paving will have a diesel smell for days

Both of those worth surprisingly well but for the covering up to be effecting needs to be done for a few weeks.
