Prices For second-hand components?

Hi Guys,

Could any of you pc-builders in the know, tell me how much these components are worth, as I'd like to sell them.

I still have the boxes for the components and think they are still under warranty. As I've bought them not too long ago.

Motherboard: Asus p8z68 deluxe
Processor: Intel core i5@2500 GHZ
chassis: Aerocool RS4
PSU: Aerocool 700w
Antec h2o,920
Asus GForce gt520
MSI Radeon HD 5570
ram: 2X transcend 4GB 1333 mhz

Reason for selling, saving up to buy a laptop.

Do a 'feeler' on carbonite, or just browse the classified ads there to get an idea of what you can get. You might have more luck selling the items separately there as well.
 
The 2500 goes for R2000 new, the RAM about R180 each.... the 920 goes for about R950-R1000 new.
Question is, how old is "not too long ago" ?
 
Computer parts have a terrible resale value. In a business accounting sense they are normally written in 1 to 3 years. Once you've used the stuff for about 18 months you really can expect more than pocket money for the stuff.

Its a little like cars - just much worse. I'd guess that most computer stuff loses between 30% and 50% of its resale value the moment you break the seal in the packaging that it shipped in.
