Prices on 17" LCD's?

OK, after days of looking at different 17" LCD monitors, I've narrowed it down to 3 models, and now it is gonna be down to availability and price.

Samsung Syncmaster 760BF
Samsung Syncmaster 740BF
Acer AL1751Bs (Gamer's Line)

Are there any guys here that can get their hands on these models, and at what price?
 
viewsonic - the best response times 8ms and less (the newest one 2ms!!!!)

I've Narrowed to down to 1 - The samsungs are not avaiable here in SA (only special Order of more than 20)
 
Maybe consider an LG, one of the following should be good depending on your budget.

LG1730SK (12ms - No DVI) R2035 Details
LG1780U (12ms - With DVI) R3183 Details

The Prices and info are from PCMall.co.za so I am sure someone might be able to get it for cheaper.

What is you budget?
 
Acer is the best IMO, but good luck trying to get one. I've been trying to get the AL1951Bs for about 2 months without success. I've even payed for it and all :(

Get your money back - NO one has stock... and no ETA
 
I'm not too up on LCD monitors apart from the ones I have, the Pretigio P179. They're damned nice with a price tag that's really sweet. I paid R1600 about each so the prices prob would have come down by now. They just might not be up to the task if you move around alot.

Anyhow check them out if you're still shopping around
 
The acer model fro 2199 in Centurion mall is the best price ive seend. And its for the 8ms model.

Its some unknown make and would not even look at buying it

Ouch, bit steep for an unknown Chinese brand.
Have found someone with stock on the LG L1780Q @R3133.00, so that is probably the one I will go for. Spec wise it's not the greatest, but it's good all round, and stiil the best looking LCD IMO.
