Is there somebody who can explain the following to me:
I pay Telkom for my ADSL connection - including the speed of the line.
I pay my ISP for the size of my bundle (3GB).
My question:
Does the ISP pay Telkom for speed also or only for the size of the bundle?
If it is only for the number of packets or size or volume, why does ISP's ask a higher price for a 1024kb line than for a 384kb line when it does not include Telkom's part for the line? If I have a faster line it means I will reach my cap "faster", but I will still have used the same volume.
(I do not want to use bandwith, because I think it is used wrongly as the size of the bundle and not the width of the "pipe" or speed. If it is wrong, please explain it also to me!)
