We tried all four PRIME drink flavours Checkers sells

Checkers launched the PRIME “hydration drink” line of beverages to much fanfare on Monday, with each 500ml bottle selling for R39.99.

PRIME grabbed headlines in mid-April when well-known broadcasters Leanne Manas and Anele Mdoda posted on Twitter about kids pestering their parents about it, and its high domestic price.

Never heard of either of them.

Also, Prime tastes like somebody added suagr and flavoring to cold horse piss.

Yep, did not live up to the hype, same for the Feastable chocies

he has apparently had the recipe changed for those chocs now.

Interesting. I have never tasted horse piss, cold or hot. Not even room temperature.

Yes looks like they all expired this week and there is no other stock what I can see on the shelves.

there was an article that said they were going to produce it locally now

"PRIME Hydration, the beverage brand partly owned and endorsed by celebrity YouTubers Logan Paul and KSI, is selling for a mere R10 in Shoprite's Checkers stores, some 75% lower than its initial price point last year.

Explaining the huge price drop-off on Friday, Shoprite, which used its logistical and distribution muscle to bring the popular drink to its Checkers and Checkers Hyper stores in April last year, said it had lowered the price significantly to rid itself of all existing imported stocks as it geared itself up to now source it from a local manufacturer."

Here where I live, Checkers, Shoprite, and OK, have stock by the loads.
