Greetings guys,

Could someone explain to me how to configure win 7 so that i can send files from my android phone to print via the wireless?

P.s. i have an s4, s3mini, 2 galaxy tabs.
It would be nice if this works from any wireless device though.

Extra info: Printer - Lexmark impact S305
printer is currently shared through win 7 and as far as i can tell the print server is running. but i can't see it as a "shared" device.

TIA,
JC Louw

While there are many Apps that allow you to print wirelessly, try Google Cloud Print.
App here and set up your printer here

Google cloud print works for me 2.
Good luck and let us know if you get it to work

Be one with google.. or suffer? :P

Thanks for the suggestions guys/girls,
Sadly was hoping there would be a way to configure it to work through the wifi directly since i'll basically be doubling up the data transfer with google cloud print.

Guess it will be easier just to create a shared folder and use a lan browser like es file explorer. Included the link for anyone who might be interested in using this method.

Thanks again guys and gals, happy printing ;P

Have you tried any of the many wireless printing apps available on the Play Store?
Like this one?
They offer printing over Wifi.

It seems that KitKat offers this feature, without any need to install an app
See here for details.

Kitkat looks promising, hope I can get that update soon. Printershare is awesome but I need to set up atleast 4 devices and don't want to spend the 500 bucks.
Thanks for the suggestion though. Gonna stick with the shared folder for now.
