Printer Problems.

More details, what type of printer is it? Is it connected via USB, Firewire, Parallel Port etc?
What OS you running>?

its a canon bjc-1000 connected by parallel port (if thats the one with the pins) and running windoze xp. i think if i try print a test page it makes the pc sleep.
