Hope i've got the right forum, here goes...

I have just printed blank letterhead, my printer is pushing up the info on the bottom of the letterhead to just under the logo...

So what it should look like,

<page starts>
--- LOGO ---

---ADDRESS---
<page ends>

but what is coming out,

<page starts>
--- LOGO ---
---ADDRESS---

<page ends>

Is there some paper saver function i'm missing? Any ideas please? Haven't reload drivers either.

HP 1415fnw. It's happened from AutoCAD, Word and Adobe Reader on to A4.

Assume it's not a usual problem. Will try the manufacture.

Looks like a driver issue, see if you have the latest ps level 3 drivers from the manufacture's website ( if your printer supports ps 3). You can also print it to pdf to see if the problem persist which I doubt.

1. Older Centronics interface printers would do it when cable had lose wires.
2. Debug mode on on the printer; printer is printing commands (PSL/PS) in text mode, instead of processing page layout.
2. Printing engine (electronics) faulty, or corrupted firmware.

Restore factory defaults. Use different interface. Did you try "print as a graphics" option?

Phoned HP today, was on hold for 30min. Then guy on the line's phone was "faulty" so was cut off. Phoned back to check what was going on and was promised a call back today... guest what???

Have the latest firmware and drivers to my knowledge.

sajunky, couple for questions.

Debug mode, PSL/PS???? Sorry i'm a noob. Where can i find these settings? When you say interface you mean? Currently running through wireless connection, you think i should try hard wire? It's happening both from laptop and desktop (both wireless). Also where is the print as graphic option? Had a quick look to no avail.

I am to lazy to search for printer specification, some of options depend on the type of engine and OS/drivers, might be not present. You can still do two things.
1. Reset printer to defaults from the printer menu (as already suggested).
2. Use direct cable connection (just for testing).

Second thought, someone has managed to modify your letterhead. What do you get on the screen in print preview mode? The same as printed?
