Prison Break is the only show I gave up and never watched the last season all the way.
When I saw that there was a final movie I scanned though it and gagged... wtf utter rubbish.

I also randomly stopped watching during season 4. It was painful to watch and see how such a great series turned to utter waste.

The kark hit the fan after season 2. This was due to the 2007 writers strike in the industry. That strike was a bad turning point for so many series. Basically the normal writers on all series went on strike, so they were replaced by backup writers who didn't know wtf they were doing. Many shows had shortened, bad seasons that were awful. Like Prison Break season 3 (the bad turning point in the show's quality), Desperate Housewives, Heroes season 2 (also it's bad turning point), Lost. And many others. 24 producers just decided not to have a season at all that year, and rather released the 24 movie Redemption. That writers strike ruined so much.

Here's an amazing idea for a brand new original Series. So a guy tries his best to get into prison because he wants to bust his brother out from the inside but he keeps failing to get into the Prison to break out of. This drags on for 4 seasons and he never gets him out but he gets close to getting in a few times.
