Private trackers

Took a second look at ByetSized.

They have really improved a lot. They use Novoserve btw but have their own AS.

Wow they have unmetered + allow google mounting and have plex and all one click reverse proxy setups with custom domains. I don't remember their app boxes having unmetered and allowing google mounting and ssh access. Hmmm this might be a nice box for me.
Unmetered does not mean unlimited, once you go over 10TB, they slow you down, they have a FUP
Under their ToS: "Unmetered bandwidth has a fair use policy, meaning: you can not exceed 3 times the amount of bandwidth as an average user, on a given plan."
You will have no idea what 3 times the amount of bandwidth is of an average user, so pretty much they can stop you whenever tbh
You will also be sharing the SSD, you also will be sharing that 10Gbps
I have been there and I had many complaints, which is why I went to a Dedi

What do you pay for your Dedi and what are the specs like?

E3-1275v5 64GB Ram, 2x 512G NVME, 1G unmetered (Almost 200 total TB of bandwidth in 25 days)
Comes with Swizzin pre-installed and the Dedi comes with qBittorrent pre-installed and tuned to your Dedi's spec to get the most out of it
€53,95
In my opinion this out performs any other offerings at this price point
If you want capacity rather than NVME's, it is also very cheap

Is that a once off fee? I must confess, at that kind of price I'm very happy with my little custom Oracle seedbox.

That's monthly, no ways you going to be pushing 200TB on your Oracle seedbox though?
I mean if you not a heavy user or do it as a hobby, then sure Oracle Seedbox will be fine

It's out of my budget sadly. I'd rather get some upgraded hardware for my server pc at home and run it on my 1Gbps line.

I ordered one of these mini servers here.

Model 1:
CPU: i5 7500t
RAM: 16GB DDR4 Dual Channel
STORAGE: 2TB NVMe Gen3
NETWORK: 1Gbps Shared Unmetered
Price: 24.49€/First Month, Then 34.99€/Month

It's a low powered CPU but with the NVME it should be decent, and no Disk IO issues on torrents. Will see. Hosted in Helsinki though. :-(

But with the ARM instance maybe. 4Gbps in The Netherlands is not bad. Space is the issue though so as a free solution and a hobby not bad

The 1Gbps shared is throwing me off here, haven't heard much about Pulsed Media though

Yeah. I have no need for anything close to that. Pushed a couple of hundred GB on TL, TD, FL and TS each this month, which is more than enough of a buffer for many moons.

It's 20Gbps rack bandwidth for 40 mini servers so I would say 500Mbps guaranteed but 1Gbps shared.

Since he only has 16 units as a beta it will be 1Gbps good. I will give it a test and let you know how it goes.

This is how they look.

I wonder where he got these boxes and the power supplies. I'd like to build something like this and run it off my ftth 1Gbps line

Please do let me know
Wanting to hit 1PB on at least one of my trackers before the end of the year, so wanting to do that with as little spent as possible

That is actually decently sized boxes, did he buy them pre-built like this I presume

Wow okay that is like at least 100TB a month going forward.

No he build them. He also runs Pulsed Media as a hobby. Has his own AS number and racks in the DC.
