I tried this for a month and i must say the performance is awesome, just a bit to pricey for my budget.

Speedtest to international servers doesn't reach to its full line speed compared to national servers. It seems there maybe still some issue..

I have just placed an order with HBD for a Hetzner dedicated server with same specs. Chose the swizzin application services.
Do they tune/optimize the server before delivery or how does it work?

Yes they will tune qBittorrent for you, make sure to setup AutoBrr and autoremove-torrents so everything can be automated

Will do. What criteria would you recommend for autoremove-torrents? Want to build a good ratio on TL and other private trackers.

Price difference is about 9 euros. And HDB deliver the server already tuned for best performance.

Will see how it goes and if I can duplicate the config and performance when going directly with Hetzner.

Of you select USA as the country but then it will be ex vat. They will likely add the vat if your account has been marked as South African.
