Hey Afripeeps,

I just ordered my Rain goodies off of the app. So, I took the 25 + 25 deal for now just to check how it works and to make sure the coverage is good.

It is going to cost me R299 per month with the free router deal.

I got the invoice with a payment of R800 odd rand outstanding. How can this be? If my total is R300 per month how can a PRO-RATA work out more expensive???

I believe they charge people R1K for the modem (B618), if you jumped earlier, you would have gotten it for free...

although I believe you can get the cheaper router still B315 still free...

but will pay 999 if you cancel within 6 months.

Nope - on the invoice the router is free, but the data charges is horrendous.

It lists the following: 8GB Mobile Data Pro-Rata (3GB allocated) = R166.48
15GB Mobile Data - Pro Rata (6GB Allocated) = R313.26
10GB Mobile Data - Pro Rata (4GB Allocated) = R208.42


Router is free then there is a RICA delivery charge...
 
I see they changed the rules now,
I guess with the amount of people that jumped on the boat, its no surprise...

I remember they sent us an invoice for the same thing, 25GB and 25GB pro rata,
and top ups were very reasonable, R10 for 1 GB
