ok, is it ANC cadre owned ? Usually, in these type of cases, it generally is.

See for yourself,

but the Tsogo Sun Hotels group is a hospitality magnate, and has a global public profile. I don't believe they will politically pander, which may wind up in party connected controversy. It doesn't mean that they are immune to corruption, but an episode like this brings unneeded attention, so I would believe that all was above board. There are high-stake philanthropy also involved here.

This was clearly an event which was also used for the opportunity of showing the IFP's good governance for means of job creation. Which political party stands not to gain from that?

So R137000 to host a seminar at the Elangeni..

Assuming their biggest room takes 200 people, thats around R700 per head to hire a conference venue for the morning, and feed them a breakfast or a lunch...

Still seems a bit pricey really.

It’s in the realm of reality at least so not a major problem really.

Whether it is R137k, 5m, or 100m for a breakfast, I do not see the problem or anything wrong here.

Great. I'll serve you a breakfast for R1m. I'll even give you three eggs, four rashers of bacon, four slices of toast, a whole tin of baked beans, butter in a butter dish, bottomless coffee, four jam choices, double the sausages and as much cheese as you can eat.

Deal?

Well when municipalities are under performing in service delivery but having R5 million breakfasts, then we have problems.

Well, this is the ANC. This number: 123 is exactly the same as this number: 1985662542252. They do not see the difference. They do not understand what they are doing wrong. They will go to jail and sit there for 15 years wondering why it happened and what they did wrong.

It's an IFP governed municipality.
