PROBLEM: HD PVR remote changes SD channels

I have the DSTV HD and SD PVRs next to each other. When I change the channel using the HD PVR remote, I find that it changes the SD PVR's TV1 channel - is this how it is suppossed to work?

I want to watch 2 different channels on the HD and SD PVRs.

Yes the HD PVR remote is compatible with everything that came before it. Why do you have them sitting together (or you have a line of tv's in front of you)?

You can disable it in the SD PVR's menu, making it only respond to signals from the SD PVR remote.

My cables from the dish come into the TV Lounge so the PVRs have to connect to them there hence they sit side by side.
