Problem on Vodacom BIS - Emails & BBM

Mine has been giving issues during working hours for weeks now so unfortunately I can't tell you if it's exceptionally bad today.
 
For the first time in ages mine was absolutely unusable.
 
Seems there is a problem...just tested mine by sending a test BB to a friend. Does not come back with a delivery confirmation and says contact is unreachable. Just sent myself a mail from pc and waiting to see if it comes through
 
BIS not being served ...

Vindication at last, others are also suffering what I believed to be an isolated occurrence _not_ VC I am not alone in this.

Seeing is believing, so here is proof that I could not even do a speed test nor open mybroadband.co.za on my Blackberry but could on my PC which proves no problem on MB site:

I actually want to take a video to truly show how long it takes to load/timeout.

Does MB allow video posts?

U guys see now...now u made VD mad and now he is going to blacklist all our blackberries! :eek::D

Thanks VD for the update. My BB still does not want to test my download speed...gives error 413 (error occured while trying to connect to server). Think this is related to this issue or perhaps the installation of speedtest gone faulty on my bb?
 
I think the best thing that comes out of this is that there is finally acknowledgement that there is something wrong on the network (BIS).

If our Blackberries get blacklisted then our payments should also be blacklisted :D

Right now I have no access at all, BIS is absolutely dead and checking other threads on the forum concurr.
 
Read in another form just now a guy complaing also his BIS is dead...reflecting GPRS in small letters instead of CAPS. Advised him to try and switch his mobile connection off and back on so that it can reregister. Please try that and see if it works. My Blackberry is showing EDGE in CAPS so seems to be fine on my side.

I can confirm that the 155 number says, "Due to unforseen circumstances, our call centre is unavailable, please try again later"

Sometimes it is easier to be rude than to be nice, some people just never make the attempt :o
 
Hunt line is giving problems today. Vodacom is aware and is working on it. Affecting many support numbers, including the ones that we dealers use etc. Lets hope it gets fixed soon.
