Problem with BF3

I set the fan to 100% and after about an hour the temps are around 100 degrees.I think I will give the card a good cleaning tomorrow but now another problem has come up.When playing BF3 suddenly the game minimises and can't be maximised again.I don't know if it has do with the high temps?

Look we don't have a clue how much dust is blocking the fan but the temp is an issue, when i forget to put my fans up when i play i lag like a mofo it doesn't minimize but even when my card is running at 100 degrees and i put the fan on 60% it drops to 75 degrees while playing so the fan makes a massive difference. Yes it is loud but i have headphones so i don't hear it.

take the side cover off your box off, obviously the one that shows your components and see if that helps. I have this picture in my head of tiny box that has little to no airflow with bad cable management for some reason.

Take the card out and clean it with either a vacuum or a compressor. The heatsink fins are probably blocked up, causing it to run so hot.
