Problem with Dlink 2640U

For the past three days, I have pressed the power button on my ADSL router, only to have all four network connection LEDs flash on and off. None of the other LEDs [power, status, wlan,dsl or internet] light up.

What has worked for me so far is to hold down the recessed reset button at the back of the device, but I am concerned that my router may be on the way out.

Have any of you experienced a similar problem and how did you resolve it?

these things either work or they dont. in your case.... it does'nt. luckily tomorrow is saturday and you can pop out and consume a new one. OR... you could have spent the last 20 years of your live tinkering with digital electronics and flash it some new firmware straight up the serial pin.

+1 for flashing the firmware to the latest available - will have to setup all your settings again though...
