Problem with Neighbours

try showing the dog some love and maybe when you guys become bff's it wont bark so much while you're working away :)

upmarket suburb with educated people...lol, see there is the problem.Ya'll are so high up simple manners and solutions to simple problems get ya'll worked up...

You guys are so educated this should be a simple problem, let's see how long ya'll take to solve it, educated people!LOL

there was an electronic gadget I saw on the internet from america that would record the dogs bark and then re play the end part of the bark whenever the dog barked. apparently when the dog heard it's own "end of bark" it gets confused and eventually shuts up! but I was not prepared to spend $25 to find out if it worked! I just use my 800 000v shock stick the sound hurts their ears so bark = pain no different to the electric shock collar dog behaviourists use!

Call the SPCA & say there is a stray dog roaming the area. they still go out to collect in some cases. or alternatively ask a friend or someone to come collect the dog from the street & have it booked in (under other details) with the SPCA, making sure they know where the animal was found roaming the streets.

I recorded our neighbours seven dogs when they went on their daily howling spree once and played it back when the neighbour arrived home one day just to proof to him that their dogs make a complete racket during the days. Instead of having shut them up as suggested in an earlier post, I effectively had fourteen dogs doing their cacophony and a complete berserk neighbour.
