Ummm, sounds like the problem is an Outlook problem, maybe try [searchforum]Thunderbird[/searchforum] or even better use [searchforum]GMail[/searchforum].

Works 200% with all other POP3 accounts!

May be Vodacom POOP3 server!

Log on to Vodacom4me and check if you can access your mailbox from there. If theres a problem, you will see a message that says something like "We are having problems servicing your request".

If you can however access you mail from the website, then yip its then a problem with your Outlook.

Now all OK - Suspect Vodacom's POP3 server must have been down!

Web access wasn't a problem but who wants to use webmail?

I use the webmail interface into GMail all the time - I have Thunderbird installed, but I hardly ever use Thunderbird anymore, and I have refused to use Outlook for many years - you are clearly living in the past.

I had the same roblem since yesterday. today I phoned 155 and they told me that they do have a problem with the servers and they are busy working on it.
