Hi,

I have a Kodak camera and when I connect it via USB Windows XP picks up the camera but it doesn't recognize it as a storage device only as a camera then when I click on "get photos" (or something along those lines) it tries and then says "Camera or scanner currently in use".

I see there seem to be a few people who have had this problem. The best solution seems to get a card reader. Was just hoping that someone on the forum has a quick solution. BTW I have tried it on multiple PCs.

Thanks

I also used to get that, some times it takes ages for it to load.

It's just strange that it has been working for +- a year and now all of a sudden... Oh well I guess these things happen. I think the card reader seems like a good option though.

With some cameras you have to change the mode to 'mass storage' or something for windows to see the card as a USB device.
