The combination of Cool Ideas and Vomatel is deadly. From yesterday morning my Internet is down. But no technican and no sign of an answer.
 
Hi there, the SLA guideline from Vumatel is 24-72hrs typically. Do you have your support ref for us?
 
And I though City Power /Johannesburg Water are the worst. My Cool Ideas case cool-20250831-2469407 Vomatel case 0088401. Cool Ideas closed the case yesterday and I reopened it. Voantel notified me yesterday that they pointed a technican. They contacted me from BritelinkMCT that a technican wants to come but he never came. I phoned Cool ideas twice this morning to understand what is going on. No answer.

Just a tip, if the turnaround time is 1day i give it 3days in South Africa just eases the mind a bit.

No answer as in they don't have an answer regarding the case, or there is no answering the phone call?

I will let the team know around the Vumatel side of things.
 
Just a tip, if the turnaround time is 1day i give it 3days in South Africa just eases the mind a bit.
Realistically most cases are resolved in 24hrs if talking averages.

I don't know normally but in my case this is a horrible service

Your Vumatel ticket status is currently Pending tech arrival, and they do normally contact you before coming out to the premises.
We have querried the missed appointment with Vumatel accordingly as well.

Thanks. Do Vomtel have any time frame to resolve the issue or this is a usual City Power answer " we appointed a technican".

Vumatel has confirmed there are 12 houses affected by this issue, and has provided this update
