Problems cancelling Telkom services

You go onto the Telkom website and go to cancel service. It then tells you you need to send a form to an email address. The form you can obtain from the website. But you are already on the website???? I think Telkom has lost it.
I went on to website to find out what I owe as I was sent a voice mail explaining I needed to settle my account and I found a form that told me I owe 0.00. ????????????????

Yeah the cancellation process is beyond broken, I went through multiple channels, I sent the cancellation forms, I cancelled via the website backend, I cancelled via live chat, I cancelled via telephone, litteraly every precaution was taken on my side.
That was in December 2018. It is not March of 2019 and they are still billing us monthly for a line that we have email proof that it was cancelled and we even received confirmation that it has been cancelled.

Absolutely ridiculous.

Same here, Telkom themselves upgraded us to fibre but they still charging us for the ADSL line! :mad:
 
Just received a call from Telkom. Finally have my line cancelled successfully after about 6 months of fighting! Credit to my name regarding the backdated invoices and all. Make sure to include [email protected] and [email protected] when doing queries and cancellations and just keep following up every second day or so.

Lady this morning explained that their cancellation system has changed numerous times which has caused huge delays - just for some clarity.
