Hi there Everyone,

I would like to find out if anyone can help me, the problem I am having at the moment is with sending e-mails on my tab.

I can recieve e-mails no problem while connected to WiFI, but the problem comes in when I need to send a mail...

When i try send a mail while connected to wifi it sits in my inbox for ages and doesn't send, but once i disconnect from wifi and use normal data it sends instantly, Any ideas on what the problem could be or how I could fix this so that I can send email while still connected to wifi?

Stay on WiFi. Press refresh/sync.
Is your background data enabled?
Also try enabling auto sync and then sending to see if there's a difference.

So your outgoing smtp is probably set to Vodacom's SMTP server. So when on Wifi you are coming from an IP address not from Vodacom. Then they don't allow mail to be sent.
