Problems with Google Talk

I've been using Google Talk to chat with my MXit contacts since yesterday, and all was good. However, today I am unable to chat with them.

They come online and when I send them a message their status goes from "Available" to "Offline" in about five seconds. This also happens if I log onto MXit with my phone to test, I send myself a test message from Google Talk which only arrives about an hour later, sometimes not at all, with my status also changing.

Also, my contacts can sometimes see me as online, sometimes as offline even when I am online. This has happened overnight, anybody know what can be done to fix this? Or is MXit to blame?

ya mine has always done that, sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt, another problem is it has is sometimes people on mxit have problems trying to send messages. I just use a java emulator thingie for mxit now...
