Still problems in Western Cape (Paarl)?

The dashboard doesn't show bandwidth.

Sommer lus en gooi my fckn speelgoed uit my kot

Oh, and the 564 MB file I've been downloading since midday just bombed at 497 MB when my signal died. That's over R100 worth of my bandwidth.

Nice. Thanks, iBurst.

Do you use a download manager, like Free Download Manager?

Or did the source site not have resume support?

Well it looks like iBurst did it again. Just when it seemed as if they *might* be on the road to recovery, they proved their incompetence again with their poor service and accounts ****ups.

Why is it when they "upgrade" their services, it always turns out to be a complete downgrade in reality.

No, I was downloading through Firefox. :( I've restarted the download using the site's (gog.com) downloader app instead, which supports interruptions. I suppose I should've done this first, considering. But I've just spent five weeks over in the UK where I didn't have to worry about this sort of rubbish.

I'm seriously pissed off, though. 500 GB is a lot of bandwidth to just lose like that. This on top of sites not loading for me AGAIN is almost enough to make me drive over my ****ing modem. If there wasn't a problem with the lines in my house, I'd move over to ADSL tomorrow.

I am so so so sick of this ****ty service.

[EDIT] And it's taken me 10 minutes to load a 1 minute video in YouTube. Seriously. :|

No Bandwidth usage reports received on 2nd and 3rd September 2009.
The area of the iBurst web site to check the status or change iBurst PPU (Pay per Use) preferences still gives an error after logging in.

iBurst PPU status/management section of web site still reports the following:

Apologies

We were unable to retrieve your current usage. Please try again later.

Morning all

iBurst PPU status/management section of web site reports the following:

"Error adding service
Print
Apologies we were unable to add the service to your account.

Login Failure to the main iBurst web Site:

"Login error
Print
Apologies an error has ocurred during login.
Please try again later or call client services on 0877 20 20 20"

I cannot login to the site, but have received the email this morning.

It states that I have carried over -151.38 MB. This amount is then subtracted from what's left.

The rest looks okay.

Thanks Shaun for informing us.

:mad:My Problems with iBurst this month

My Problems thus far this month:

1. Account migration to higher package from Giga to Pro - Was Resolved after having to phone twice holding for 15 min each, first call was dropped.
2. Request for static IP for WoW, this account is mainly used for WoW - Still awaiting response.
3. Carried over data from last month of August that is still missing or not reflecting - Still awaiting response.
4. Contract period that was extended to August 2037:confused: - (This happened after the migration problem was fixed.) Still awaiting response.
5. Still haven't received usage reports, requested twice.
6. As of 9:00 this morning not able to log in to Iburst website.

I am getting pretty tired of having to struggle like this:mad:

I'm also getting the "Login Error", can't check my bandwidth usage.
