Processing time for US visa?

That is unfortunate, yea i would guess it is the ties/purpose of your visit that must have tripped things up. In my case i had my American office employers' letter stating i work for them , that alone gave me an approve right there at the counter.

That's the exact reason why I am having issues is they think I'm trying to go work there on a visitors visa. So I guess you were just lucky :D
