It is very common for these companies to bid low on government contracts, get chosen due to their quote and BEE status, then fail to deliver fully. By then the salaries and kickbacks are long gone.

Or likewise, our ruling politicians. Don't think there is a job with more plush benefits for doing zero. Not to forget sidies like virtual immunity from justice and a cadre of religiously loyal colleagues, who will strangle thousands of their own supporters just to protect you, etc. Not in a country of zombie voters.
