The standard 3 cell offers around 2 hours while the 6 cell sees around 5 hours, depending on the user and what USB devises are connected.

I've used one for a week and I'm impressed. Boot times are slower than the EEE 900 but the keyboard has much better spacing, the screen (being a 10") doesn't hurt my eyes as much as the EEE 900 did and the quality of materials is top class. The white looks a bit cheap IMO but the black (matt) is classy.

It's well worth the money if you're a mobile person who simply needs to stay connected.
 
Do you guys get the other colours?

Also - do you sell the MSI or the Proline Branded one?

Anyone want to buy R3000 worth of ebucks? :P
 
The black and white units are available now but the pink will probably only be available towards the end of the year.

We only sell the Proline U100 which is exactly the same as the Wind besides the badge.

If you want you can save the R72.00 on shipping and collect from me directly as well.

My U100 had dead pixels and stuck pixels out of the box. I contacted kalahari for a replacement but havent heard anything back from them. Other than the screen defect it is a brilliant piece of hardware and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a netbook.

I did both but the call centre lady just promised to get a consultant to phone me :)

Does upgrading the RAM void the warranty? Even if it's done by the place you buy it from?

How does it handle Office 2007 though (or Outlook email) ?
What about quality of dvd video playback?
 
htf can their prices always be so cheap.
 
Seriously, im not in that field anymore but when I had rectron, pinnicle etc accounts they were still cheaper?
