Drivers and app installed fine.
Everytime I clicked Connect, it displayed error message "Connection terminated".
It showed good signal strength and WCDMA (or something like that) in bottom left.
Could not get it to connect once, but in the store they demonstrated on a laptop that it was connecting.

Pity.

Anyone know of any probs with Vista?
(Vista 64-bit desktop.)

Running fine on Win7 64bit.
Still testing different things i use daily, but so far its ok (79%)

Might be worth installing the generic Hauwei Mobile Partner or give MDMA a go.

Once you plug in your dongle give it some time like 2minutes or so... Once you see the dongle displaying the network give it about 1minute to respond, the product does work, did have some issues on other networks but all sorted out...

It happens sometimes when you plug in your device takes about 1-2minutes to respond perhaps something with registering your dongle on the network etc.

Yea I had the same problem. Bought a 3g modem and plugged it into my Amiga. Nothing. Nada. There where no drivers and no information whatsoever.
Stupid modem. I also want a refund.

14 days since I returned the modem, and no refund yet.
According to the purchase conditions I should have my money back within 14 days of return.

I waited 20 days for my refund, after about 10 calls and emails.

Also, look forward to the R350 they'll charge you (deduct) for returning the device.

Cellc really are a terrible company.

Your loss.

Could of just used the MDMA program and created a dialup connection via windows.

The system can identify Huawei Mobile device, and you cannot install drives. Firs you should go to the path system dir to find the INFCACHE.1 file. And if the INFCACHE.1 file is less than 6K, that means the INFCACHE.1 file of Vista has been destroyed when you uninstalled the E1820 Data Card dashboard. To solve this problem, Microsoft will release a patch. You can get help from the Local Service of Microsoft.

Thanks for the info, but the user has already returned the device, perhaps you can assist him with getting his refund expedited?
