I have a fujitsu ah532 and it is running too hot when running anything intensive(read games).
According to speccy my motherboard goes up to 95C
It's only a few months old so I do not suspect it to be filled with dust.

Are there any proper laptop coolers available for physically big laptops?
Will they even make a difference?

I got a benq laptop cooler but never made a difference to my laptop which also gets up to 95c causing it to restart so not sure if there is one that works properly.

If it's on for extended periods, then it's most likely dust.

My laptop runs 24 / 7. And it's been doing so for a few years now. The best thing I've found is setting aside a few hours every couple of months, cleaning all the dust and resetting the thermal compound.

It helps.

I don't advise doing that if your laptop is still under warranty though.

If you move your laptop around often, those cooling pads become quite a mission to handle. I gave up on mine.

I opened the bottom cover and could see the heat sink and fan etc, no dust.
When I get more desperate I'll redo the thermal compound as well.

Ha a similar issue on my Vaio, but it is just over 2 years old, was packed with dust so I cleaned it out and put new thermal paste on. Also got a cooler at Matrix for about R200 works well enough but I reckon the bigger difference was the cleaning.
